I don't agree but you're entitled to your opinion.

A guilty verdict in a civil case wouldn't have changed much; she'd have got a payout and he'd have got on with his life. Which is pretty much where we are now. Yes, things could be worse for him but he hardly comes out of this as an exonerated innocent party.

your right its all about opinions

If she really wanted the justice she told the world she wanted, she would have had her day in court, seen him found guilty and not settled for a pay out.

Unfortunately it’s seemingly always about the money these highly publicised cases involving the famous and celebrity.

So in summary:

Andrew is guilty and still a nonce. Money and prestige can get you out of a sweaty situation but that’s life…right?

As for the Women he abused, well done on destroying his reputation and for taking down this very public abhorrent sex ring. It would have been satisfying to see Andrew cross examined and for money not to be a deciding factor but again that’s life.

BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell just assessed Prince Andrew’s settlement ‘a huge relief to the royal family in a very special jubilee year.’

Yes, that’s the take.

The interview he did back in 2019 still holds up as a great bit of entertainment.

'I had a condition where I could not sweat'. Brilliant.

A simultaneously compelling and appalling piece of TV. The look(s) on Emily Maitlis's face towards the back end of this interview said it all really.

The girl was underage according to the TV reports
Sorry they are incorrect then as all other reports including the full length programme all state that she was 17 and why would she accuse him of abuse when sex with an underage person is legally rape.

Witchell is a knob. I've met him a couple of times. I know for sure that at least on high profile Royal absolutely detests him.

It's not news that Charles was overheard saying he couldn't bear him about 15-20 years ago.

In this case, it's a partial quote of a greater whole. Witchell was pretty clear that Andrew is still out in the cold and he can't see how he comes back in, but for the rest of the family having the matter done is important.

I don't see how that statement is a problem, as it's not as though the Royal Family have forgiven Andrew. It's possible to be relieved and angry still.

He’s a nonce , very good friends with two convicted sex offenders , his mum and family are still actually talking to him , people still bow and scrape to this lot , no wonder the country is fucked .
