Storm Dudley/Eunice/Franklin

Whilst the storm was pretty bad down here on the kent coast I was surprised it was a red warning to life.
Yes it made sence to stay inside.
Yes some trees have come down.
Yes someone's gable wall fell down
Yes a few shop signs blow around.

I get the stay in side that was sensible advice. Just abit bit surprised its was a red warning than again my hanging bird table did fall off !

I am sure storms of 70mph winds are not that uncommon. Better to be safe than sorry
Your bird's not that bad...

We have large areas without power still would that mean a reduced electric flow to us ?

We cant run a Hoover without tripping out same goes with tumble dryer etc. We only have a fridge and fridge/freezer and washing machine running anything else and it trips some of the fuses.

Ah ok, so these high winds and torrential rain aren’t a storm?

Better tell the residents of Didsbury that as they take their belongings upstairs.
Definitely not here yet.
Not due until tonight.
Pissing down here in Poynton, my gardens under patches of water.

Crackers. It’ll be a nicer day tomorrow than today.
