Spurs (H) - Post-Match Thread

I’m old enough and ugly enough to take a defeat. What has got my blood boiling is posing for that spitty **** to openly laugh and squeal at my and my club whilst I’m paying his wages. Running. Three more months then it’s gone for good
Don’t worry the hateful **** won’t be laughing at the end of the season. Scouse bastard

Their 3rd goal was woeful from us. Just scored and on the attack and a piss easy pass to Cancelo he lost concentration and let the ball go out for a throw in. We then win the ball back and Walker does an awful pass right to them. Then we failed to stop the cross coming in, and Eddie and the defenders all beaten by Kane.
Mahrez telling Walker to play it back to Eddie who instead then proceeds to knock it forward to a Spurs player...

But the Cancelo part was even more inexcusable. Nobody near him. Must have been thinking ahead as to where he was going to play an outside of the foot pass.

He absolutely was. And any one saying different doesnt know whats going on

Just sour grapes to suggest otherwise. When we beat Spurs 5-2 Dumitrescu was fantastic, Berbatov for Spurs was incredible in the League Cup and the League match and now Kane.

Kane was the differencce, strolled about the game and not one of our players got near him. Ferna would have sorted him out and let him know at least he was in a game. Baffled by how bad our back 4 were today and crossing balls into the box seemd pointless to me.
Rodri was piss poor tonight and added to the shitshow from the back four even Var and Eddie's legs couldn't save us. Ahh well on we go.
One of those days to get out 93.20 to watch again.

At 2-2 we just went to shit
Very poor From both fullbacks
A draw would have been a great result tonight
Totally lost the plot over Taylor not giving the 2nd yellow. No excuse just unprofessional from so many regardless if it being a shite decision

Just felt we were a bit tired after mid week. They parked a big bus, played well and took their chances, it happens. Still top of the league and now we will probably go on another great run. Come on City!!!

A team that has won 3 premier leagues out of 4 , got to a Champions League final and is currently effectively 3 points clear in February does not have players who have no bottle and a manager with game management problems.
We got off to a bad start against a team that for some weird reason are a bogey team. We clawed our way back but were undone by poor defensive play that needs to be stamped out. If this repeated v Everton then we have problems but we shall see.
The most sickening thing about tonight is the LFC loving media gloating. So begins a 48 hour sports media blackout for me.

Good to know the beyond overwhelming claims from the football media of how the “title race is done” weeks ago, whilst Pep kept saying ‘No, no, no” have shown how ridiculous and hyperbolic too much of the analysis is when it comes to City one way or the other.

Also, Spurs ALWAYS show up against us.

Our own podcasts and fans were also deluded after the last match where we were also FORTUNATE to not concede in similar ways we did today where warning signs were present.

Combine that with Spurs desperate, at rock bottom AGAIN, Kane with a point to prove and many of their players being slagged off and so did the likelihood of complacency from us come at a higher risk.

And then…voila…there you have it
What point did Kane have to prove, we bid over £100m for him so not proving to us.

It's not though, is it? If we win all our remaining games we win the league, so it's not true.
"In your hands" means that if you do what you need to do, then nothing the opposition can do, can stop you. Which is now correct, regards Liverpool (GD aside, which could be a factor).

that loss was down to the defensive shambles, watching kane was like watching a 20yr old playing against 12yr olds, absolutely shocking defending for every goal
