Homes Being Evacuated in West Didsbury Due To Risk Of Flooding.

Just wanted to give Bluemooners a Heads up,Especially older Blues.

Some Homes are being evacuated in East + West Didsbury due to a risk of flooding..
 
Affected areas,west Didsbury,Barlow Moor Road,including those located around Princess Road,Riverside Avenue,Mersey Crescent.

Stay safe.
 
Flooding used to happen a lot to houses near the Mersey. Stenner Lane would always flood along with Toch H fields. There's a lot of flood plains around there but never heard of warnings like this so must be bad, stay safe.
 
wonder if the flood control at Sale Water park is in operation, only known it used a couple of times, if it is full, then there will be more evacuations. The golf clubs are regularly flooded, as are the fields at Fletcher Moss but dont remember many buildings.

My auntie used to live on Stenner Lane, and yes she was flooded frequently.

The doggers are going to be gutted at Jackson’s boat.
