Russian invasion of Ukraine

Such a helpless situation we all know why Nato are not getting involved militarily they know this crazy sadistic **** will obliterate life we may have Nukes but Putin will deffo use them and I think they know it. The power and control one sick puppy has over a nation even people around him pander or they will be terminated.

Russian billionaires are obsessed with their yachts as status symbols and they’re all in the Caribbean at this time of year. Seize them and stick them all in a port together and you’d get an incredible, humiliating visual that would piss off the oligarchs much more than seizing homes no one knows are theirs and they don’t even live in.

Putin is on about the constant threat on it’s borders but NATO would never ever be the aggressor (I know the US usually get involved but it is with the , sometimes Ill advised, intention of keeping the peace). We in the west just aren’t made that way anymore whereas there are still many countries on the globe that would happily bomb their neighbours. China is in the middle of a massive land grab in the South China Sea and may Feel a bit braver after witnessing their commie buddies flexing.

I don't know what NATO could do, no one wants a war but we haven't started this. If he goes for Ukraine, what else will he go for?

I fairly recently (6 years ago), worked on the front end/proposal for an LNG project to be constructed on Canada’s East Coast, to be financed by Germany, to provide Germany with energy security and stop reliance on Russian gas. It would have been up and running by 2022.

It got shelved for being too expensive.

I think they made a mistake.

Trump is a loon, but that is bollocks. Treump specifically stated the other day that Russia would not have contemplated invading the Ukraine if he had been President.

Despite everything I think we have the finest in the world.... well I hope so anyway.

As I posted yesterday the next step should be to totally isolate Russia on every level, no flights in or out, no business, no financial transactions. The first very easy thing to do is to cut them off in terms of sport World Cup, and anything else they are still involved in.

We've got people over here that still thinks Bozo Boris is still worse than Putin. Honestly, some people would have Hitler, Stalin and Mao in charge with a back bench of 70's kids presenters if it meant getting the Tories out.
