We need to stop these lacklustre starts. Southampton and Spurs cost us goals and today we were asleep for most of the first half and fortunate that Everton didn’t take advantage. We were better second half although still not sparkling and a bit fortunate.

Will take the 3 points and hopefully be much better next week.

yup - said it in th match day thread...as good as gundo was last season he has unblanced the team by bringing him back in....Bernardo was in player of the season form playing in CM and then gets moved elsewhere when gundo returns....Pep has history for shoe horing Gundo into teams nearer the start of his time at city....it weakened us then and it has done now and that is not a slight on Gundo as a player but we all know its about the balance of the team and Bernardo in CM gives us much more balance and energy
