Crafty bastard them Ruskies, keep the maintainance easy, basically any BSA tool kit will do. Plus, apparantly they used to make the calibre of their small arms slightly larger than those of the NATO forces meaning they could use NATOs ammo but NATO couldn't use theirs.

As individuals, homosapiens aren’t particularly special. We’re fairly intelligent, we have language, and we are especially dexterous but that’s about it.

I’m just hoping that’s exactly what he wants us to think. My only comfort is not only would he have to be stark raving mad but all those around him would have to be as well.It’s hard to imagine a scenario where that number of people have all gone cuckoo and don’t have any family and friends that they care about.

I’m almost 100% certain it’s a huge bluff. He appears to have got himself into a situation with no obvious escape route.

That's my take, can you imagine if Johnson went off the rails and wanted to push the button. Do you seriously think others in the cabinet and high ranking officials wouldn't just shove him in a cupboard and lock it.
 
I assume Putin is in his Nuclear bunker Wolfs lair thingy in the Urals.
Which begs the question if he was planning on a conventional piss easy Ukraine job. Why the need to hide.

It's an obvious bluff for sure - but it's scary that he's even willing to just throw that messaging out there to get a reaction.
