Russian invasion of Ukraine

As I said it’s only “selected” or “certain” russian banks. It definitely begs the serious question why not ALL russian banks Because they’re still selling oil and gas to the west.

I've posted this before but it was the same with Trump. The joint chiefs have publicly come out and said that there was no conceivable situation where even if he ordered a nuclear strike that it would actually happen. There's a full chain of command comprising of very serious, very experienced military staff and no such thing as a "red button".

It'll be exactly the same in Russia. As it is here. If Johnson in a pissed up stupor after one of his "business meetings" decides to live out his Churchillian fantasy and orders a nuke on Germany, it wouldn't actually happen unless about a dozen generals agreed. Which they obviously wouldn't.

China won't invade Taiwan, even though it desires reunification.

Xi isn't as rash as Putin and China expect taiwans retrun to mainland rule will happen at some future point, but they have patience to wait for that.

China see the old western world order shrinking in power over the next century and American influence on the south china seas weakening enough over time that drastic confrontations can be avoided.

It's a long game to China, they are slowly becoming influential in south america and africa without any desire to conqour foriegn lands.

Putin is a cold war fossil stuck in the 80s strong arm mindset.
 
EU to supply weapons. Also apparently banning RT and Sputnik across the Union.
