That's if the CIA or MI6 don't get him first. And you'd have to be very naive not to think US/British/other NATO operatives aren't already in Moscow and plans for this haven't been drawn up for years.

A few questions

1) what is the process for launching a nuclear weapon. Is it really a simple at Putin pressing a big red button and one is fired?

2) if it is that simple, how are they guided and how is the destination determined? Are they launched and controlled to their destination, or is it programmed to coordinates and then the nuke lands on spot X?

3) How long would a nuke take to travel from say Moscow (assuming that’s where they would come from) to the UK?

4) Does the UK have any warning sirens to prepare (not that you can do much) for an incoming missile?

5) Are there counter measure against nuclear attack. Can you for example shoot a nuclear warhead out of the sky before it reaches its destination?

No expert but guessing


1) fuck knows how Putin would
2) will be pre programed
3) they say 20 mins
4) we have early warning systems
5) we could shoot them down, but if several even one getting through would cause retatiation and destruction, plus even if detonated high enoigh to defuse any radiation think that they emit and emp pulse that could cripple our electrics
 
Movement at last over here!

Sweden will send 5,000 anti-tank bazookas plus body armour for 5,000 troops and 135,000 field rations.

An Evangelical church in the south of the country has done a great job (not usually a fan). They have driven busses down to Ukraine and evacuated 80 children plus staff from a children's home in Kyiv. They are on their way back to Sweden with them now.

I genuinely saw a video about the state of the US nukes and one involved loading something from a floppy disk.
