I think defending the border with frisbees was a mistake. Why did you sack me then?

Agree, some big exaggeration going on in suspect.I have a hard time believing Russia have lost 5400 in 4 days and Ukraine are about 200-300.
I wouldn’t believe a word the Russians say in regards to anything, I just think the Ukrainians are desperate too and I don’t believe it’s 5400 in several days. They were desperate. Now it's the Russians feeling the pinch. The fact the Russians were claiming zero casualties when we saw the charred bodies and tanks and are reluctant to release casualty figures should be telling.
Not sure how helpful this is TBH. Assuming all the figures are accurate, and we can be 99% sure they aren't. Plus, if they "only" have 400 ICBMs, what are the other 6,400 nukes they own for exactly? I am guessing they have some other method of deploying them or else there's no point in having them.
IRBM's. For halting advancing armies or close neighbours, have a range of about 2000 miles. Not sure how helpful this is TBH. Assuming all the figures are accurate, and we can be 99% sure they aren't. Perfectly reasonable request, and if it means peace...The message from Putin is thus:
Let me do what I want or I will nuke you.
Under any conceivable circumstance we can't allow him to get anything that he wants, he's a lunatic and lunatics don't stop of their own volition.

I think the Russians had deluded themselves that due to the success of their cyber operations over the last few years that no one could do the same to them. They're finding out that there's some smart people in opposition to the regime and in the west who can wage cyber warfare as well.Sky report Russian state news agency Tass has been hacked and displaying anti Putin messages. Haha
Did they ever ratify START II?Warheads and delivery are two different things. 6000+ warheads, most are in storage but a chunk are also tactical nukes mate. There are some studies on causality rates but honestly I don’t want to find out if the are accurate or not. I think I read they have a 90% confidence level so actuals might be a lot worse. US also have 400 or so ICBMs. I think Russian warheads are slightly more bangy though.
Back in the 80s the world had about 60,000 warheads facing each other and I think that influences our thought process of mutual destruction, nuclear winter and apocalyptic outcomes - it’s not these days but it’s pretty dire so best we just keep them for knocking out an asteroid and all kiss and make up.

I’m not so sure your average Russian is opposed. They rose up and overthrew the Tsars but ever since been cowed by the likes of Stalin and Putin. Frightened indifference maybe.?Believe you me, I think the majority of us westerners feel the people's pain in Russia as well as the Ukraine obviously. The ones supporting Putin can go fuck themselves, but I think you speak for 90% of your country when you say no war, it's a bloody disgrace. Stay safe my friend
Sounds a little desperate to me.Ukraine are releasing prisoners with military experience to go and fight in the hottest areas, all kinds of moral dilemmas in that one.
Not that we are included in the EU ban.At least 10 RT employees have resigned from RT in the last week. It's still on Sky but not for much longer as The EU are banning it in all European countries
I dunno..I imagine if you have military experience and have spent some time in a Ukrainian prison, you're probably hard as fuck.Ukraine are releasing prisoners with military experience to go and fight in the hottest areas, all kinds of moral dilemmas in that one.
