It took me weeks to get over that. No result has ever affected me as badly, not even our relegations, not even the CL final. A once in a lifetime opportunity to win the league by beating them, and City threw it away. At my age I very much doubt the opportunity will come around again - "not in my lifetime". Our ground is/was better than the rat infested, paid for by others, swamp.
The only thing the rags have that is better than us is their local council.
