Russian invasion of Ukraine

Some more staged events for everyone, mad that there are cameras everywhere how convenient.

Why is it staged? Everyone has phones with cameras so not that unusual. They don’t push it back so the tag is disingenuous unless I missed it.

One thing to note is these Russians were at least respectful to the life of these Ukrainian civilians - just reminds us they are human too when we cheer another Russian convoy getting obliterated by a drone.

Think it was tongue-in-cheek in regards to another posters comments.

Obviously take it with a pinch of salt but it explains how Russian troops are struggling to even communicate with each other on the ground. The Russians are completely uncoordinated.

It does however fit in with the theory that he thought he was on a 1 to 4 day campaign at most and is now struggling - remember to fail to prepare is to prepare to fail

Yet another reason why Ukrainian resistance isn’t futile at this point.

I watched one today with a Ukrainian lad around 20 live-streaming as his car was attacked, his family shot, his dog shot and then his stream ended. They were all civilians. So there’s some nasty shit still going on.

Why do you think the Russian's developed hypersonic missiles before the US?
Russia is first to move them into production but the US has had the tech for a while. With Russia and China production missiles rolling out, the US will quickly follow suit.
The pre-production Dark Eagle missile (one of a number) is already being tested by the US military.
So the window of opportunity for Russia and China is very, very short.

he was taking the piss out of those that say everything is staged!

I wonder if Putin's "short term end game" is the two separatist regions.

The rest can wait a while.

That, and maybe a land bridge to Crimea.

But who in the West will do business with Putin’s Russia if there is a settlement and they keep Ukrainian territory? Where does Putin’s Russia go from here, or indeed a post Putin Russia that has troops on Ukraine territory?

Russians have grown to like their iPhones, Apple Pay, Netflix and football. They lose that for what? Killing Ukrainians and some territory and all for reasons no one fully understands?

The end game of all this is a head scratcher, because no matter what Russia ‘gains’ it’s going to lose a hell of a lot more.

Does it sound like the US to have a superior nuclear technology and just not move it into production for a few years so someone else can get the jump on them?

it'll end with a brutal sniper style guerrilla warfare from apartment blocks for weeks/months on end till a ceasefire, at which point the Russians will only retreat back to Donetsk.

You can see what Russia have gone in for, they'll end up with the valuable brown bits on the right. The west may keep the rest of Ukraine but have to trade with the Russians for all the valuable bits. Damages the west.

Always thought it was a land grab under the disguise of a political war.
