Russian invasion of Ukraine

Putin is absolutely winning the proxy war imo - lots of people in other countries are all turning on each other over this.

I'm seeing a narrative starting to form more and more online that the west are over stepping the mark due to previous wrong doings and colonialism.

Watch this space, as this conflict is going to start getting spicy.
START getting spicy?

You sound like you're enjoying this, like it's some sort of amusement for you.
What kind of lunatic are you?

Fuckin' hell. Whoever is responsible for energy policy in those should be prosecuted for negligence. Even without a conflict going on in Ukraine, totally relying on Russia or any single source for your energy security is absolutely crazy.
And last night a German guy said they need to go back to coal and open up more pits and nuclear power, farewell clean air tax lol. If that’s the case we have 400 years of coal under us let’s do the same until clean energy is widely available, yes I know it will rake years to get up and running it thus has shown how easy it is for us to be cut off.

I thought the tone of the interviewer was shocking, given his country is a self-interested supporter of Russia, **** (him not you)

Really? I would imagine we’ll see much more of such in the coming years. As power appears to shift away from the Anglo-Saxon and European worlds, we’ll hear similar and worse. Just by dint of the population numbers, we’ll see a concerted anti-West narrative on MSM and social media, packed with all manner of ‘whataboutery’.

Whatever you're smoking, send me 2 cases. That's some good stuff!

Back to reality...

There's been an unprecedented, united, unanimous response from western democracies condemning Russia's invasion of The Ukraine. Hell, even historically neutral Switzerland has joined in.

I'd prefer we dictated that time and effort to a combo of nuclear and renewables tbh, and then fuck coal gas and Russia off.
