No it’s not apt at all, one them was a mouthpiece for his regime who were in denial, the other is the leader and mouthpiece of his country who has so far been inspiring to his people and to a lot of the world.

Every world leader I’ve heard from has said their problem is with Putin and not the Russian people. What about the Russians who are protesting in their thousands or the chap off here?

Was listening to 5 live on the way home and they interviewed a fella who is in Kyiv and he said it’s been fairly quiet today, shops and underground open and Russian troops nowhere near circling the city as the MP had told them an hour earlier. He sounded pretty calm given the circumstances.

No you can't. We are not bombing the Russian people and I'm sure most are fairly decent folk but unfortunately their leader is a psychopathic murdering ****. So Ms Alsop.might like Russian vodka and other bits and bobs and want to go on her jollies there but we have to hit them hard financially in the hope they stop killing innocence people. Now she can spout her shit as is her right but to praise the virtues of Russia while that country is waging war on another is frankly despicable.

It doesn't bear thinking about.

I imagine Putin feels empowered to do the fuck he likes is because he feels he has weakened the US through 4 years of his puppet in power. Similarly with Britain/Europe split and having got Bozo in he feels his work has come to fruition and may never have a better timing.
