Would normally disagree and say that it’s not appropriate to say watching a helicopter full of people die is cool as fuck, but the way I’m feeling about the Russian military at the moment, I found the HD version further down the thread and casted it to the TV, and yes it was cool as fuck.

We will show our support for Ukraine tomorrow so won’t be far away from our minds.

Mind you if it was the scum playing the Russians tomorrow for control of planet earth I’d probably cheer on the Russians ;) I just need to get my mind clear, will be fine when we there I’m sure.

I'd like to think they're holding back some sanctions so that there's still more leverage. If you do everything straight away, then you've basically shown all of your cards at once. If even these relatively modest sanctions absolutely tank their economy, then they might be quicker to come to the negotiating table when more are threatened.

But that's probably wishful thinking, and the actual answer is just "because money."

No need for questioning another blues priorities for the derby when maybe he thinks folk dying is more important.

Anyroad I could maybe question you for call it “a derby”, not “the derby” ;) I’ll be there, @marco will be there… I presume you’ll be there. So let’s leave it at that

From another non-football forum i go on, one of the blokes on there was explaining that his Mrs runs a scout/cub group. One of the young lads there is Russian, and another is Ukrainian.

Russian kid was in absolute floods of tears because he thought they were gonna ban him from attending the group.

Ukrainian kid also in tears because he thought he wouldn't get to see his (russian) mate.

Sorta brings home the reality

You should see the UK sanctions, they are world class, if world class means weak as piss
