Did Ukraine have a Pro Russian government ELECTED by the people that was overthrown? What’s the history there. Does Putin see this as an excuse ?

No, they (B52's) were over Romania on Friday though.

The tankers, US, NATO, and UK are refueling NATO jets patrolling NATO airspace, ours are flying from UK and Cyprus.

There’s a USAF strato tanker that’s I’ve noticed circling over Romania last couple of days. Are the B52s knocking about to give Putin something to think about?

There has been just to show them we're here.

The most important flights (not B-52's) have been for intelligence gathering which watch movements from afar, listen in on radio traffic etc. I've read that the Russians haven't really shown themselves to be very competent, their tactics are crap, their technology is crap and so it's been very easy to work out what they're up to.

You have to remember that the US knew that an invasion was imminent almost a week before it happened. You'd have to be very naive to think that this intelligence isn't working its way around through very well placed people on the ground both in Ukraine and possibly even in Russia.

Week ? The West signalled it was "likely" before Christmas. I work for something alongside the military, we haven't done night shifts for over 3 years, but it's in our terms, that we could go back to doing so at any time with 10 days notice, we got that notice before Christmas, but it has since been rescinded again.

On politics show this morning Admiral Sir Tony Radakin was on and said Ukrainian and Russian estimates cannot be verified at all so not to take any figure as fact.

I mean are Ukraine or Russia going round counting? Are they fuck, both will inflate and deflate the numbers for morale purposes, only at the end of this will the real figure be known
