Took a quick look at Nick Harris' article in the Guardian. Skipped straight to the City part. I very much doubt the "detractor opinion" was from a real City fan at all(he blocks those).

To paraphrase, it sounded like everything you imagine Nick would like a City fan to say "Wish we could have done it without cheating but..."

He's such a sad, strange little man.

I wasn't aware he had written anything. He seems to have disappeared off the football radar.

The news story about FFP should have been the lengths that old money went to to stop new money including changing and then bending the rule book. Sadly the media are not investigative journalists any more they are just lackeys in partnership with whoever they think makes them the most money.

The more adept elements of the media might figure out that there's money to be made following City because there is a very big and growing fanbase that is not served. There's an empty niche there if anyone wants to fill it?

Watching a documentary last night HMP Wakefield.
Yes it isn't called Monster Mansion for nothing, as it houses the EFFIN scurge of society.
But I couldn't help notice how the media have helped keep Charlie Bronson in for so long, with over elaborate lies about him to sell their papers, that must of effected parole boards decisions in the past.
Even the nonce killer who is permanently in solitary confinement in Wakefield was dubbed a cannibal by the press as he had eaten a victims brain they said.
When in fact he had just killed them with a sharp implement through their ear, and hadn't eaten anything.
Basically the media can and will write absolute lies for a receptive audience without a moments hesitation.
What a horrible stinking low life career it must be..... to be a certain type of journalist

I’ve shared a few bits and bobs with him, including knowledge and history of certain people in that industry, on here and elsewhere.
No idea who he is but the one thing he definitely isn’t is connected in any way with the club.
Elliot Eastwick famously made a holy show of Castles when he wanted to doxx Rabin.
Strung him along for ages by promising to reveal his identity then published the DMs.
As others have said, dubious, thoroughly biased and provenly compromised media freaks, dancing to the racist tune of Big American Money, is far more likely to have a dubious motive than Rabin

I've shared one or two DM's with Rabin. In my opinion (for what it's worth) he is in no way connected with the Club. He is however a knowledgeable guy who seemed to hit quite a few nerves with our clickbait journo friends on Twitter, hence why the rabid c*nts all piled in and tried to out him.

Apparently Pep has not spoken to Ya Ya since his racism outburst but Ya Ya has attended an LFC training session and now exchanges text messages with his new pal Jurgen. It's all bollocks of course in advance of our impending big games. Apparently Ya Ya wants to become a Manager and he thinks being duped by the press into saying stupid things will look good on his CV!

No way is Pep racist, he went out of his way to have a chat with Nathan Redmond a couple of years ago and he’s had loads of non white players in his squads. Pep is a quality human being and like many others if someone questions your character with a downright lie he’s entitled to not get involved. Your last point is spot-on. The Deloitte figures suggest our global fanbase is now growing rapidly, especially in the USA. I think a lot of the media coverage on City is more measured these days, particularly overseas. There has always been a commercially-driven bias in favour of the best-supported clubs like LFC and MUFC and that will continue but you would have to be totally stupid not to spot a commercial opportunity in the success of the CFG which currently has the Champion clubs in India, USA, Australia and England. We are like the Amazon of the sports world. You may hate us but you can't ignore us.
