Despite the FCA opinion Warburton took the loan via an offshore entity linked to the businessman’s family trust. He later brought the Russian into the Palace of Westminster and used his parliamentary email address to organise meetings for him including one with Rees Mogg.

Watch this space. The gvmt will squeal and wring hands over the sexual accusations (good) and the coke (I bet many are at this) but will draw the veil over another Tory link to dodgy Russian cash and cash for favours and cash to influence political direction.

Its the biggest scandal going.

local govt elections are gonna be a rout - traditional way of even supporters of a Govt to express dissatisfaction but I reckon this time given all that has happened if I were a Tory Councillor I'd be saying my goodbyes. We have a Tory MP here and a Tory council - so far the Tories are the only ones not door knocking - wonder why?

No they don't much but for a party boasting an 80 seat majority I predict the scale of their losses will shake them to their bones - a lot of those 80 seats are slender 4, 3 and even double figure majorities and I have said it before a lot of nob heads who thought they were on the Parliamentary Tory gravy train are at dire risk of being one term wonders
