Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

some good new banners out tonight in lower SS, please if anybody has there phone handy from other parts of the stadium, videos and pics are much appreciated. Quite a good new banner with pep on it.

we are trying a few small two stick flags, easy for one person tom hold up, these are player tributes. If you are in 115 / 114 please feel free to hold one up on the team entrance, once you use it just hand it back to one of the lads at the back then we can use them again.

Not sure what the atmosphere will be like behind it.....

NORTH STAND BANNER

Prior to kick-off, 6 banners will be unfurled from the top of level 2 in the North Stand, these will cover the entirety of the stand. This will take place approximately 5 minutes before kick-off and will be cleared before the match starts. These banners being in place will mean the players walking on to the field and the playing of the Champions League anthem will not be visible for supporters in the North Stand.

Not great for the supporters of the North Stand, although I'm not sure I'd miss the champions league anthem!
 
good luck and enjoy to all going tonight. The team will need the atmosphere. One plea is to have songs that everyone can join in - i.e not loads of words and not about ex players. The usual oldies like We live you City, when the blues go marching in etc. Cheers

We all LIVE for City, but some of us LOVE City as well !!!

Couldn’t make the game tonight so had to make do with watching on the TV, atmosphere sounded rather flat in the most…what were peoples view that were there?
 
Not going to complain.

Atletico would kill any atmosphere.

Not only did they bring City down, they brought the fans down as well.

I'm 101% sure the atmosphere will be electric and toxic on Sunday.
 
How can any fan get excited watching attack v defence for 90+ minutes.

Let this one slide. I doubt we'll see another game like that this season.

Was bobbins in the ground n’all. Very flat, barely a chant went round in the first half… a bit better second half but still bobbins.

Atléti fans were good and - like Atalanta - such a refreshing change to have a good set of away fans singing all game without a drum ruining it. They well outsung us. Couldn’t hear SSL1 over them hardly all game.
