haven't verified this but heard that ManU has 4 of the top 5 highest paid players in the prem, 5 of the top 10 and 10 of the top 30
Proof that money does not guarantee success, which is what they told us in 2008, but sometime after 2012, the narrative changed to you can only win with money.

The new manager will arrive and as night follows day his early optimism will be replaced by an exit strategy because of all of the prima donnas at that club.

Can't wait :)
It's as if they aren't allowed to look at any other media and get completely sold on the prospectus alone.

'Come join us all for fun, fun, fun everyday at Putlins Happy Gula Holiday Homes'

And reality only hits once they arrive.

What a tool! What the hell was he thinking ? Probably,” if I talk like this will I get her in bed tonight.” Would love to hear what he says about it now ?

It’s strange but I think it is just an automatic thing when you are based full time in a foreign country and talking with people who speak English as their second language.

He is trying to speak in a way to be more easily understood, don't think he needed to do that it that interview bit looks like he was doing it in all press interviews.

Most Dutch people speak English so it's not necessary, but they wouldn't have learnt it from someone with the same accent as Steve.

It isn't pretending to speak Dutch it's just speaking slower and clearly so he is understood, if it isn't your first language then you might miss words pronounced differently than how you expect them to be.
