At this point in the season so much of this is emotional.

I think our lads will be massively psyched up from getting through that game and winning, not sure Liverpool will be bouncing after conceded 3 to Benfica.

It was a much changed Liverpool. The likes of AA and VVD won’t be arsed about that. They’re fully rested and fresh for the next game. We also struggled like hell when we played that semi against Chelsea under similar circumstances.

What a game and what a performance tonight I’m so proud we managed to come through this. The players are battered and wounded but we are through to the semi final that’s all that matters. I hope the injuries to Kevin and Walker are not going to be to bad.
