Weird, when they needed a goal they just wasted there own time by pissing about? Stoke on steroids.

They did the same last week. They had opportunity to nick a goal late on and they were more interested in kicking the ball at a prostrate Grealish and flicking his hair.

This week they were more interesting in having childish fits and acting like pretend hard men when they had an opportunity to get a late goal.

They must be the thickest football team in the world!

Simeone had no need to go onto the pitch then. I doubt UEFA will act retrospectively for any of this, but he deserves a one match ban.

We lost our composure in the 2nd half and couldn't play through their press. As Pep put it, we forgot how to play. Maybe their aggressive pressing surprised us or we got tired or both.

Hopefully we'll learn from that. We have a great team but the players are only humans. Playing 2 decisive games over just 3 days was very difficult. And the thought about a 3rd such game coming in less than 3 days made it even more difficult mentally wise.

Given the circumstances, fatigue and injuries, we are underdogs on Saturday. And hopefully that will help us.

the tone was set when phil was forearm smashed without retribution
shocking from madrid and the officials, they were getting to us on the pitch in the last 20 minutes as they started to create some opportunities
it only really kicked off when they knew the game was up, full kudos to us for standing firm
think saturday will be a game too far now and hopefully any injuries wont be too bad

Probably everyone’s first reaction regarding Saturday after that game and the 2 injuries. Walker pace will be a huge miss and obviously it’s a big blow losing KDB. On the flip side though the defence will be fully recovered in terms of fitness. Bernie is as fit as anybody and Grealish,Sterling and Jesus will all start after an easy week. Big challenge but one that great teams can easily over come if they’re going to have a remarkable season.

To be fair foden was kicked off the pitch by Felipe after a good tackle so it was only a throw in

Foden was already deemed off the pitch when Felipe decided to slice out at him, that's my take anyway. Seven fouls by City and five yellows?? And AM only eight fouls, what was up with that ref? Weak.
