To be fair Wood had a clause and it was surprising that Newcastle actually triggered it. They are likely to go down and the best bet to bring them straight back up would be Dyche. Short-term thinking from Burnley’s owners.

If we had sewn the league up when we were 14 clear of the scousers (2 games in hand) Pep could have gone on loan till the end of the season.
