Playing Sterling against Liverpool is like playing with 10 men. He has never had a decent game when playing against them never mind a good one. He’s a complete waste of space against them in every single game. It’s mental thing with him. Leave him out when playing the dippers he just can’t do it.
I am not talking about Sterling performing against Liverpool, I am praising the quality of Sane, Aguero and Sterling in their pomp.

after watching the game yesterday i feel liverpool are playing shit or bust football and without a long term future
Klopp knows his time is running out at liverpool and there really not much more he can do ?

i feel city always have youth and plans in place for the new season and beyond and it never feels like shit or bust
we are going to strengthen in the summer in key part of the squads with strikers and a left back. next season will be something else if we bag haaland and a left back

this is why the rest and liverpool know its now shit or bust this season because city will have a major team for 5 to 10 years

They bought Diaz, Jota and Konate recently and their backs will be around for a while.
The true test of ourselves and them is when Klopp and Pep leave.

What is it with scouse managers and cosmetic surgery.

I know the birds over there are all partial to the Katie price treatment, but the blokes….?
Have you been to Liverpool? Once you've done the Albert Dock, and the Beatles thing all that's there is to do is smack and cosmetic surgery.

Not seen it anywhere else but what are we saying about whoever chanted over the minutes silence?

I don't condone it and think it's a bad look myself, but them lot have done similar over Munich and routinely use Heysel to mock Everton.

Alright when they do it though, innit?
The rascals...!

Again agreed, some luck/fortune is involved....but maybe Klopp is also prioritising and managing his squad better.
The end of the day, both Liverpool and City have very good sides and any type of management has an element of luck. With regards to this week, Pep was kind of forced into this, going away to Madrid defending such a narrow lead somewhat forced his hand, so looking at the last week in isolation is somewhat unfair since Pep arrived we have won more than Liverpool, so I think its fair to say they are both, by some way the best managers in the league and between them don't make many mistakes.

Both brilliant,i agree.

Pep has to win the CL though, otherwise all this prioritising/rotation will be for nothing and he will always have the 'nearly' tag associated to his time here.

I see Klopp as someone who knows what and when it needs to be done, and has that bit extra ruthlessness about his being. He is probably more my type of character.

I think klopp is more like the childcatcher in chitty chitty bang bang.

Been haunting me since half-time yesterday cos I'd an uneasy feeling that these insufferable c*nts are going to sweep up all the trophies this season. Make it not happen, Pep!

We are on the same page.

Pep is a fantastic manager, but I am beginning to wonder whether he could/should have done even better. Is he getting the very best out of the players at his disposal?

Hopefully that won't be a thread come the end of May.. ..

I think Liverpool’s recruitment team is the best in the league and ours is distinctly average.

Pep’s ability has papered over the cracks and as a result people massively over exaggerate the quality of our squad. It is hugely imbalanced and the fact that LB and striker are still areas of weakness for us is negligence at board room level.

It’s easy to say Pep has spent x amount since he’s been at City, but the transfer team have wasted shit tonnes of money on players who are good, but there were better and cheaper alternatives available.

People have rightly been raving about Ake recently but he’s still one of the most expensive CBs in PL history. He cost more than all of United, Liverpool and Chelsea’s CBs bar Maguire and van Dijk. The less said about the fee paid for Grealish the better and that is coming from someone who rates the lad.

If we get Haaland in the summer, a LB and replacement for Dinho then I think for the first time since the Centurian season we will have a properly balanced squad.
