IPTV

We had a Humax box mate from about 18 months back and couldn't connect, hence the requirement for a Hybrid LNB. Maybe the new generation of boxes for freesat will work .. anyone? With the Hybrid LNB we can now connect via our TV's built in freesat so negating the box altogether.
Yes it’s a decision to make when leaving Sky Q. Swap the LNB and use old receiver: £60 but either no pause & rewind, or max record 2 channels.
Keep the LNB and buy a new receiver: £145 but get a better interface (probably only worth it if you don’t already have on demand apps on the telly)
Keep LNB and buy a new recorder box: £230 - £290 with record 4 at once. (Still a fair outlay but the closest you’ll get to Sky Q if there’s a lot of recording going on).

After Sky Q we just went back to our Freeview box (Manhattan) as it’s ideal for us. I still like to be able to pause live TV and record occasionally. Just stream everything else. The TV has inbuilt satellite receiver but the guide was impossible to use.

There lies the crux and at what price does one pay to avoid watching nausiating adverts. The sensible man inside says retain the Sky Signature for the base programs where we can record up 7 programs at once and then simply IPTV everything else. I imagine we could swing Signature with HD for around the £25-£28 monthly mark so a pound a day to not be force fed conglomerate gubbidge and be able to fast forward the interval.

Re IPTV and I was at an aqaintances house tonight to watch the game and his Bien and Dazn were out of sync re sound and picture, but a quick flik to the Now Sports channel and oh my days and nights. PQ was 4k-esque and was perfectly attuned. I think this is a chinese or Japanese channel as occationaly their block alaphabet appeared on the bottom corner?

Had that on a stream a couple weeks back.

It’s a Hong Kong based channel/network hence the preference for English commentary. English language proficiency isn't as common in Mainland China or Japan.

Very good indeed mate and this screenshot doesn't do little Bernie justice. Pin pin sharp and synced up to the ninepence.

It certainly is. I use soccer streams on a refurb PC plugged into my TV through VGA port, and use the brave browser instead of IPTV subscription and devices.

Definitely one of the better streams. I actually prefer the foreign channel streams, even if you do get UK based pundits popping up, it is usually better than the screeching and hysterical shite served by Sky and BT.

I tried 2 channels last night. The first one reducing our match to a quarter of the screen whilst they did updates and replays on the other games. I put up with that for about 10 minutes. I then moved to now, I think, and was really impressed with the overall presentation. It was a lady commentator who was factual, calm and clearly had not swallowed!!!... the anti-City doctrine.

Anybody know where I can watch Tokyo vice ,it's not on my server and not loading on cinema HD ta.

The BBC have picked it up but don’t know when it’s going to be on.

Kodi on an android box with a build installed plus a real-debrid account will give you every tv show available

Woman comms on my stream which was Supersports (south african).
I think a lot of the foreign streams are from the same broadcaster, but pop up on different channels.

Anybody else having intermittent blocks when major events are on? Are iptv providers under attack again? Somebody said it’s my own internet provider that’s responsible… Plusnet

Have you dorted it, Coming up fine on my Cinema HD, do you have a real debrid account synced with it, makes a world of difference in quality of streams you get.

I too use PlusNet, but I also use a VPN for streaming live matches. I have often wondered if PlusNet (or any other Internet provider) know what site I've visited.

I use an app on my tv called duplex tv. No idea how to add a vpn to my tv, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
