Sterling has carried the ball well. Poor finish but otherwise good half

Jack had Dallas on toast but the latter was allowed to keep fouling without repercussion until the deserved Injury.

Phil needs to curb the directness in favour of a bit of control(it's OK to go backwards).

February
Leeds 2 Rags 4 Tierney as ref
6 Leeds players 3 Rags booked. 9 bookings
Yet here he has gone from card happy to letting them foul at will and noteven blowing for half the fouls

Thought the worst after hearing that 'click' with the heads clash but happy Laporte is ok. Next phase of play someone sticks an arm in his face, unbelievable no official saw that. We've only had half the fouls given to us that we should have, but apart from centre midfield sloppy passes we are on top and a 2nd will be enough. Swap Jesus for Mahrez, that might work better

“It has been a very eventful first half at Elland Road, but at the end of it Leeds are trailing by a goal to nil”.

The word “but” doing quite a lot of work there, Kelly.

Anyways apart from shit reffing...

Ake has been a standout, complete control of defending on the left with not much support from Grealish or Gundogan.

Pep needs to get Sterling wide and Cancelo inside. Maybe shift Jesus to the wing and let Foden and Grealish play double false 9 if he doesn't want Foden wide left.

Jesus------------------------------Sterling
---------Grealish--------Foden

Almost like this, both can drop very deep, not even really false 9, just 2 10's.

We have to be more clinical end of. Sterling trying and that’s clear in his general play but he has to score when Leeds gift us chances like that one
