Assuming it’s ‘oven-ready’, then I really can’t imagine they’ll need long to scrutinise it…

Must be gutting that Brexit hasn’t been a the disaster as predicted to some. Entire lives put into it for literally nobody to care 2 years later.

It’s slowly unravelling as it becomes less intertwined with Covid.

Let’s see how people feel after spending hours in airports, paying more and more on food etc and see where we are in the winter.

My guess is that there will be a lot of people angry that what they were promised hasn’t happened and that they can’t afford to eat and heat anymore.

It’s incredibly easy to blame inflation on Brexit without evidence it was anything other than the Covid response.

Sunak printing billions for furlough and other Covid response measures isn’t the fault of Brexit

Maybe so. We shall see later in the year.

Rather than trying to pin what hasn’t gone badly, what has gone well with it?

?????? Its a fucking shit shake with marshmallows on it - by the time Johnson is voted out at the next election the new govt will have to come clean about what they need to do to reverse its effects then advise what they can actually do to reverse them

That’s not his argument. His argument is that we haven’t gone totally bankrupt and people can still eat. Therefore, it could have been worse and we should rejoice that it is isn't as bad as it could have been.

You think farmers, fishermen, exporters, importers, transport firms, expats and everyone involved in organising cultural visits to EU countries don’t care that their lives are more difficult and expensive?
As long as you’re ok who cares.

Is that what the brexshiteers have had to resort to now that reality is dawning on them though ? Vote Brexit: It won't be a shit show honest, it won't be good for you but it won't get as bad as all that ? FFS ! In fact in reality it IS heading towards being a total shit show, just give it a little longer.
