Yes that was a highlight.
For those that didn't see it Johnson took credit for free busses for old people straight after he was told about a 77 year old woman who spends all day on the bus because she can't afford to heat her flat.

The policy would work if (and it's a giant if) the money goes to build another couple of council houses in the same area. This would then all make perfect sense in so many ways. I suspect the issue is the money just went to the Tory's mates just like usual

Even the Nasty Party have admitted that there is a crisis in the lack of affordable rented accommodation and they want to make it worse by selling them off. The cost of rented accommodation is astronomical as it is; selling off these home will make it even worse.
