Well if there's one good thing to come out of this thread it looks like that trolling prick Citycity76 has finally been fucked off.
Many factors involved really, who we play, when we play, and if single or pairs of tickets. The seat exchange is an odd one. As we have thousands waiting for a season ticket and you'd guess attract more tourist fans now you'd think your ticket would be snapped up but it's often not the case.
Tough call. For five years in the eighties I travelled to games from Dover in Kent. It meant setting off at 7am or earlier for home games and often not getting home until almost midnight. Those were the days before all the live games and streams and we weren't very good so we were rarely on the TV either. If you didn't go you missed the game. I also missed games due to my work schedule and the seat exchange didn't exist. It wasn't really worth it financially but I kept it going, but I was younger and dafter then. I probably wouldn't do it now.

He's still loitering,as of 10 mins ago.he's probably had a ban on this thread, " insufficient privileges " etc, same as me on the joke thread months agoWell if there's one good thing to come out of this thread it looks like that trolling prick Citycity76 has finally been fucked off.
Season ticket holders who didn’t attend (or failed to list tickets for resale) for 10 or more Prem games are being contacted by the Club’s admin at the end of the season. Those without a proper explanation might have season cards withdrawn or be given a final warning.
I think the focus is more on persuading fans in this category to switch to match day membership etc. I would just stop these people from renewing but that’s me.
There is not an issue for Blues who list their ticket for resale for most games they can’t make or transfer their tickets to friends and family. When I’ve used the Ticket Exchange my ticket has usually sold but just listing the ticketing meets the Club’s requirements.I can see the validity in that argument but Im not convinced it would be that successful.
We dont have the support to fill those seats regularly, even when many dont list their ticket on the exchange, so It is a dangerous game to ‘threaten, fans with losing their tickets especially in the context of recent events with Covid etc. Some might just tell them to shove it.
This year, although I have often listed, I have probably struggled to make half the league home matches. I have fallen foul of fixture changes (Brighton home), Self-isolating Watford/Brighton and Real Madrid to name just a couple of late.
If the club wrote to me about removing my season ticket I would have no issue with it if I believed the club was taking this step for the benefit of the fans, and enabling greater access to tickets, but part of the problem is the price of tickets, when tickets have been listed on the exchange, hence many cannot be bothered listing as they wont sell.
I have said it before I am happy with my ticket price but I don't think its set by the club for altruistic reasons, but because that is the price point based on supply and demand. If the demand was their I would be priced out without a second thought, hence I would not be positively receptive of such a letter.
I'd guess you are right. Calling people Nonces is a sure way to get a ban. He's still loitering,as of 10 mins ago.he's probably had a ban on this thread, " insufficient privileges " etc, same as me on the joke thread months ago
I have had to put my ticket on the exchange for the last two matches (mainly because I was under the impression that if my seat was empty too often I might lose it) and it sold within hours of me putting it on. I put the Newcastle Utd on this morning at 11.15 and had an email at 12.45 to say it had sold! The seat exchange is an odd one. Sorry to hear you are still not fit to be there, hope you can for the last one.I will not however, under anŷ circumstances put it up for the last home game of the season! If I have to be carried there or in a wheelchair (apologies to those who have to go in wheelchairs) I will be there. :-)

I appreciate it could be because it is on the front row of CBL1 to the right of the away dug out but it has amazed me how quickly it has gone.
I know a good few oldees who have been very concrrned about Covid. From a selfish perspective the early stage FA Cup pricing is great, but surely in terms of growing the matchgoing fanbase for the future it makes great commercial sense too. My kids have grown up in proper enemy territory so they are usually the only ones in City colours out and about. Yet for the Fulham match loads of kids from the area who had never admitted to being Blues before went to the game. There are also dads I know who are sworn season ticket holding United fans who are quietly watching or even going to City games, with the excuse that they have one kid who is a stubborn Blue, or they coach a team and want to learn from Pep (!) or whatever. It happens. Sensible pricing is one way to lock these Mancs in at a time when we are playing football of a standard that United have never played at, football that all of Greater Manchester should be proud of. I don't doubt they pinched a lot of potential fans off us, as practically every kid I met growing up in south Manc was vocally, actively or nominally Blue, with the '89 5-1 derby being a highpoint, but by '93 Reds were suddenly everywhere.Agree with a lot of what you've said but we often sell out early round FA Cup games as that's one area where the club get the pricing right - loads of local families who can't afford season tickets and match day prices for PL games tend to snap those tickets up. We actually sold more for the Liverpool semi than I expected, given the much publicised issues around that game. Funnily enough, although Liverpool are the miles better side these days I reckon if that semi had been against United then we'd have sold out no problem. Fact of the matter is that even though they're currently dogshit, games against United are still a bigger draw for City fans than any other opposition.
So are you saying they wouldn’t be able to work the Ticket Exchange and you don’t know them well enough to help them??I know a good few oldees who have been very concrrned about Covid. So your argument has zero merit

the requirement is very easy to achieve and it’s not really about Covid or any threats.
That made laugh out loud. It’s probably so they can wreck my lovely seat cover, you do know that my seat is covered in chintz and has padding?!stop being humble !
Its cos everyone knows of you
and wants to be able to say
" i sat where Sheila normally sits " ;-)
Your point was they would be told that that they were not coming so were not wanted. So are you saying they wouldn’t be able to work the Ticket Exchange and you don’t know them well enough to help them??
Tim read my explanation above. I can’t be the only one who, although it was a mild dose of Covid practically not registering, had other effects some of which can be very debilitating but not every day. As I said there, there are days, like today, when I could go (I’d suffer tomorrow but I’d see my lads!!) but then there are other days when I get up in the morning and can barely make my cuppa! I’m not looking for sympathy just pointing out that I might want to make a decision on the day but what you are saying isn’t really giving me the choice. :-) Sorry I’m not trying to be argumentative just putting another side of it. :-)So are you saying they wouldn’t be able to work the Ticket Exchange and you don’t know them well enough to help them??

Are you talking about the Club’s policy of requiring people to either attend or try to resell their ticket for 10 or more out of the 19 games.Your point was they would be told that that they were not coming so were not wanted.
