We’ve been a little bit lucky really as this is the kind of tentative, nervy 2nd leg performance that so often gets punished in this competition. Need to come out with a different mindset and assert ourselves. We can play so much better than this, we can’t come off this pitch with regrets.

The problem with Mahrez is he's happy to hide out on his wing.

We haven' controlled the game, and we haven't given him much ball out on the wing, but in that case Sterling would be coming inside to help the midfield get on top and offer a pass, Grealish would do the same, Jesus would too if he was on the wing.

Mahrez will just stand there and watch the game for 10 minutes.

His pressing and defensive effort has also been poor.

Pep doesn't suffer fools, so maybe, Mahrez has been asked to do that? I'm not sure but Pep is very vocal when players are not doing as instructed, and I haven't seen him have a blast at Mahrez yet

Very experienced performance. Control the game and contain their attackers. No need to go crazy for a goal, if we get a clear chance then we should take it, if not then we hold them out and take a 0-0 score back home. Perfect UCL performance.
