If fern coming on he has to stay back no pushing up he also needs cover so take Mahrez off & get Gundy or zinc on to pack midfield out

Good half, but not great.

Everyone has done something wrong at one point or another, when under no pressure.

Some need to up their game.

Casemeiro should have been booked for that first challenge. Because he wasn’t it allowed him to make the second challenge (would be very rare and very stupid for a player to make that second challenge if they’d already been booked for the first, does my head in when people say “he should be off for two yellows” because it doesn’t work like that) which should then have been a booking… poor from the ref.

But Ederson should also have been booked for time wasting, so I’ll take the rough with the smooth on that one.

Theyve been okay but look scared to death when we get in their last third. If we just get a bit better momentum and make better decisions, we’ll score.

It did look like Walker wasn’t moving as well as you’d expect. Sure, he rescued a situation with a slide tackle on Vinicius, but if he’s moving well he’d have dealt with that at least 20 yards higher up the pitch.

That dinho sub changes things quite a bit, gone from assured and confident to thinking "shit we're in for a rough 45 here" He should get sterling on too to help or at the very least switch Bernardo to the right.

If walker is coming off mahrez will have to cover the rightback a lot better than he did 1st half .

Surely you wouldnt bring Fernandinho on for Walker given Vinicius' threat. Only the pace of walker stopped him a few times

Maybe to shore the CM up as they seem to have a bit more space there. Im going for Silva to give you a bit of control and defensive help
