Should have won tonight - didn't.
Should have won by 3 or 4 over two legs - didn't.
It's the same old story, in that we simply don't score enough from the chances we get. Hopefully Alvarez and Haaland will sort this problem.
The injury to Walker was the turning point in the game last night I think.
Some fuckibg dodge reffing in terms of non decisions out there tonight as well.

Because we piss about with the ball instead of moving it wide and hitting the fucking striker early of course we haven't got one amazingly.
 
You thought after losing the final last year that would give us a kick up the arse!

Money is tight so this cup scheme is getting fucked right off next season.

Gutted, I think its a difficult pill to swallow, Madrid were average and we were beaten by our own lack of concentration and the lack of ability to close the game off, they didn't allow us to get anywhere near in extra time
 
Probably best just to close this thread, doubt anything constructive will be added, we're all too emotional and gutted.

And I’d we’d have taken the chance tonight that grealish had its game over. They lost because of poor concentration not because of missed chances.
 
We contained Madrid pretty comfortably and Mahrez scores on 75 minutes to give us a two goal lead. That should be the tie done. How, how the fuck have we lost it from there?? How??? The whole squad needs going over with a fine tooth comb in the summer. We need some guts and stronger mentality added.

I fear our season could collapse now, this result will shatter us mentally and physically. The one bright spot is we won't lose the final to the scouse fuckers but I see them winning the quadruple from here

"hugely important to our game"....Pep needs to rethink that, he barely makes a save when it matters and his passing his been average this season.
 
As corrupt officiating as you will ever see. Standard for us in the latter stages of the CL.
3 mins was an absolute joke added on and the bent ref blew on 2mins 52 seconds of a minimum 3. Should have been at least 7.

We can only blame ourselves. Cancelo piss poor game management at 1-0 when he crossed to the keeper started it all.

Our finishing once again cost us, you cannot miss the chances we miss and expect to win the CL. Its been a weakness for a while now. And do we need to address Ederson, so many shots on target results in a goal.
Awful way to go out, just the PL left now but looks like we are sending out a patched up and unfit team these days where Dippers have a full squad.

But my god, that ref tonight. You cannot argue there is a clear bias against us, is most weeks home and abroad. Following on from the awful officials at Leeds.
