Not being funny but you’d have to be a complete moron to fall for these scams.
There's a bloke near me that was targeted by these scammers. Over the years despite people warning him, he handed over a fortune. In one con he thought he was buying one of those Easter Island statues, so he handed over 80 million to a bloke in Leicester. My dad got this text about 8 weeks ago almost lead to him losing all his money, these fuckers are good at scamming old people thank god for his neighbour
Easily done. There's a bloke near me that was targeted by these scammers. Over the years despite people warning him, he handed over a fortune. In one con he thought he was buying one of those Easter Island statues, so he handed over 80 million to a bloke in Leicester.

It shouldn't have been from the same number if that's what you mean. Does your phone categorise messages in some way?just checked and can confirm mine was a scam with this address
nhs.test-kits-delivery.com/nhs
question is why did this stack up on messages from my gp which I know were genuine???
its an iphone, messages are grouped together from the same number, in this case this is the third message in the group, the other 2 being confirmation of appointments, the message sender is NHS-NoReply no number given. It shouldn't have been from the same number if that's what you mean. Mine was https://per-home-test.com but it was automatically blocked as spam (Sky mobile) a couple of weeks back.
Perhaps they spoofed their number so it appears under the same group? It may be a "feature" of the Apple iMessage Groups? I've always been Android myself so not 100% at all.its an iphone, messages are grouped together from the same number, in this case this is the third message in the group, the other 2 being confirmation of appointments, the message sender is NHS-NoReply no number given.
He got done. I only paid £20,000.There's a bloke near me that was targeted by these scammers. Over the years despite people warning him, he handed over a fortune. In one con he thought he was buying one of those Easter Island statues, so he handed over 80 million to a bloke in Leicester.
That really is a condescending post. Many vulnerable people exist who are not able to fully understand or comprehend.Who’s actually clicking on “test-kits-delivery.com” ffs.

Well, the smart arse lobby can take comfort from their not being "old and vulnerable". Wait till you get a text from NHS-NoReply and that comes on your phone as the same "contact" name as you get notice of appointments from your GP.
The bank said it's fooling a lot.
exactly what I got, I'm pretty tech savvy, suspicious by nature and it had me in 2 minds as to whether it was a scam or notWell, the smart arse lobby can take comfort from their not being "old and vulnerable".
