Now let's get Pep's contract extended & Fernandinho's replacement in. I'd be ecstatic if we made a move for Aurélien Tchouaméni. He'd be a monster for us alongside Rodri as our CDM options.

We also need to consider if we're happy to roll with CJ Egan-Riley as one of our two Right Backs for next season, or if we need a more experienced acquisition.

I think we also need urgent confirmation of Bernardo's intentions, what Gundog intends to do in the final 12 months of his contract & the futures of Sterling & Jesus need to be resolved ASAP.

If Gundog decides to move on, we should go all out for FDJ, who's a younger version of Ilkay.

Hopefully we're done hiding our light behind our bushel so as not to attract UEFA/G14 FFP attention. Regardless of whether we don't spend, spend a little or spend a lot, they still keep coming for us, so fuck it! We may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.

I know Egan-Riley has only had a couple of cameo roles but bloody hell he's looked good to my (admittedly untrained) eye. I'd be disappointed if he left, only thing against him is that he's a right back and it's the other side of the pitch where we're a bit light.
