I guess we announced this, even before agreement of terms, because of the news coming out of Germany.

I am very much looking forward to seeing him play for us. We will be far more dynamic and can play a more direct style when required. I don't think it is a stretch to say that a counter-attack of KDB, Haaland and Foden will be the best in world football. Would not be surprising if we score several goals next season just a few seconds after the opposition take corners.

Great signing. The first "superstar" signing we've made really, a player every team in Europe would take at £51m and we've managed to get him.

A great choice for us, and for him also - he'll slot right into a team that's already fantastic. This is the reason I was so pleased we didn't get Kane, for the chance we'd get this guy instead.

£65m for two forward players in Haaland and Alvarez - when you look at what the other teams in PL have spent recently in Liverpool (£95m Jota/Dias) Chelsea (£97.5m Lukaku) and United (£78m Sancho) it puts into perspective what great business we've (already) done this window. Can imagine there is plenty in the kitty for fullback and CM signings that are needed.
