Yes, the “in principle” thing is what makes me hesitate, and it may have been a condition of the negotiations that City were forced to go public.I doubt if we will get confirmation until a line is drawn under the 2021/22 season, including Champions League Final and possible Premier League play-off, or maybe even on July 1st.
It's just legal formalities mate.

He's under contract at Dortmund until July 1st. Legally we're not allowed to agree terms with him before that date.

But as happens with every transfer, the contract terms are agreed beforehand with the agent.

There's no scenario whereby he'll be playing for any other club than City next season.

What I mean was the deal been done months ago and all but signed and release to the media ?
It's all about timing and putting out a statement bigger than the Liverpool score tonight,

it's very clever by the media team at city and lets us get in first before steve G rolls over and lets his villa team get bummed by 5 or 6
I think it was Dortmund who released it first mate, leaving us no choice, but happy to be corrected

It's going to cause a lot of sad faces ...

Rhys Lewis: This is a sad day for football. City can be frivolous with buying. They don't deserve this; they haven't earnt their success. They got an influx of cash and suddenly end up top of the pile. They'll probably win everything next season and turn the PL into Ligue 1.

Adam: Haaland will be amazing in the Premier League, but you do have to ask yourself - isn't it now even more pointless? If the squad stays fit, City will be untouchable for the next 4 or 5 years. The league is meant to be competitive!

Bwhahaha
It's just not fair
Bwhahahahahaha

Only to re-charge my batteries, wash my smalls and stock up on corned beef, red sauce and Soreen.

OK Haaland is great and I get everything, but here is the question -> can he deliver on a rainy evening at Stoke ? Let's take a step back and think about it...
Probably not, but we won’t be playing Stoke any time soon. Phew!
