13.5.12. 93:20

Didn’t take one photo that day got to my seat and didn’t leave it till the players walked of after all the celebration and the only doubt I had we might not win the league was when I looked at how long was left it said 89th minute that last till Dzeko scored then just had the feeling we would win it.

“Theyve Scored”
It’s just brilliant. I can still the video of them jumping up and down, until it hits them what’s happened.

I think tache man with the radio is the same moron who wore the yankees cap whilst holding a ‘thanks but no yanks’ banner in one of the hundreds of pointless protests theyve had against the Glazers. Tells you all you need to know about that sausage.

Listened to it on some cheap as fuck headphones in a shitty supermarket being overlooked by Mordor for minimum wage aged 27 because my partner at the time was terrified I wouldn't get another job if I quit which was what I should have done.

I like the lady in red.

When their second went in i fucked off. “City will always let me down”. Was ready to just go home. Got on to the concourse and loads of blues milling about.
i went for a wee, gave my head a wobble and went back in.

i didnt celebrate edins goal as i just thought it was too little too late

what followed is a blur. I still dont remember the goal going in. Just cant picture that moment in my minds eye , i just grabbed my dad and started saying, “weve won the league, weve won the league”.

the emotions after were amazing, the countdown clock, the ex players from 68, the trophy lift.

got on the train and was just emotionally done. Totally drained.
got off at cheadle hulme and had one pint as i was fucked, knackered, and decided to head home to poynton.
lived just behind the farmers arms at the time, slumped on my chair ready to call it a day and then heard singing, chanting, cheering. Got a second wind and raced round to the farmers and it was bouncing.

more beer, more jaegers

best day of my life
