Southampton are a funny team, bit like Brighton..
They've been turned over by Watford at home and then have gone and away and won at Spurs and West Ham..
They've beat Arsenal at home and stopped us from beating them in the league this season..
Not in the greatest of form but have rested, fresh players who will be wanting to not lose their last home game of the season you'd think..
They can play a bit of football and have one or 2 half decent players too..
The dippers on the other hand have one or 2 nursing injuries and have to get a result otherwise it's toast for them..
2-1 Southampton sounds about right to me..!
Hope so..
Are you plastered (I am)We wont beat villa, telling you all now, this old pessimistic bastard can see it
UEFA blames CityAnd an Astroid hits the Earth and destroys it.
I really hope we get the job done next week, but I’ll be relieved to see this season over to be honest
Last few weeks has taken years off me
At least we now know we have to go for the win, Sure Villa and Gerard will want to spoil the party but we will be bang up for this knowing a win sees the title retained, I am expecting us to come out all guns blazing and blow them away in the first half. And it is 100% over with a win on sunday.
A win today would have allowed us the comfort of getting a draw on sunday. A draw today means we have to win sunday. Nothing has changed. Except the order.
Three supersonic first half goals to Seattle the nervesAt least we now know we have to go for the win, Sure Villa and Gerard will want to spoil the party but we will be bang up for this knowing a win sees the title retained, I am expecting us to come out all guns blazing and blow them away in the first half.
Hopefully Rodri will be Boston the midfield.Three supersonic first half goals to Seattle the nerves
And crystal palaceThe only teams to beat us this year were the two best teams in Europe, ourselves excepted, and a Spurs team who are currently the best team in the league outside the big two.
We have nothing to fear from lower mid table Aston Villa.
May not come to that if Southampton win, Scouse tears will Fill the Dell fee yaHopefully Rodri will be Boston the midfield.

Not sire that is a) correct and b) trueThe only teams to beat us this year were the two best teams in Europe, ourselves excepted, and a Spurs team who are currently the best team in the league outside the big two.

We’ll be champions on Tuesday night
Southampton are gonna beat the vermin
we’ve won it twice before without kicking a ball and it’s gonna happen again
I’d expect most of the villa players are still very good friends with Jack and will be genuinely pleased for him if he wins the PLI think they'll get something from the game. They'll be bang up for it. They hate Liverpool, their manager cried at their win last season and they'll look to repeat the trick.
They're a good side they just need to take their chances and defend a lot better. If Van Dijk is out that is a big blow for Liverpool.
I can see Saints getting a point which will make Sunday more enjoyable. I didn't realise Villa play Thursday. They'll be pretty nackered come Sunday and as much as Gerrard might want it, I'm sure plenty of their team will be on the beach and not in the mood to spoil a party.
Villa probably hate us more than the dippers though!
