Goal difference irrelevant Paul, unless dippers draw and we lose by 7 or 8Forget that, if Southern are shite Wolves are only marginally better at the moment, 5-0 dippers at least.

Because a) I honestly don’t think Gerrard has the relationship with Klopp that the Soton manager does and b) cos I don’t think Gerrard is already on the verge of being sacked and has others have commented, has lost the dressing room. Why not? Southampton did.
He is actually one of the worst keepers I've ever seen. He makes Steffan look like Pirlo with the ball at his feet.Keeper change though
Bednarek & Stuart Armstrong also usually start. That was a strong Southampton line up to be fair to them. Salisu, Walker-Peters, Stephens,Ward-Prowse and Broja have featured against us at St. Marys. Romeu and Armstrong were the only missing ones but they were on the bench
Your right , they were abysmalSorry, but they are seriously shit! ;)
We can lose and they drawWe just need to win on Sunday or if they draw we can draw. I was just hoping goal difference wouldn't get hammered tonight. Southampton are utterly spineless. Just got to do our job on Sunday and not completely fuck it up. If we do it's all down to ourselves!
Yep but they had no midfield, Tella and Diallo were worse than abysmal and Ward Prowse had a shocker also. They only started putting crosses in around 89 minutes, long after the took him off. That Broja put in one of the laziest performances I've ever seen. ****.
This. West Ham actually had something to play for, they're fighting to get into Europe. And I'd say they're better than Southampton (not to mention that yes, it's Mark Noble's last game so no doubt they were all gee'd up because of it).Because one team is fighting for Europa League football (on the day they said goodbye their club captain) and the other has been on the beach since March.
It wasn't just the Southampton players who weren't up for it tonight; the fans were silent all game as well. They're a club that's thoroughly done with this season - I'm slightly grateful that Liverpool only clawed one goal back as opposed to the 4-0 drubbing I was expecting them to dole out.
Hassenhutl is clearly off in the summer, the fans and players have lost patience with him. I think he probably thought that chucking a bunch of second-stringers out might catch Liverpool off-guard and might give said second-stringers a chance to prove themselves. Turns out it didn't.
Liverpool fans could just as easily point at us beating Brighton 3-0 the other week and ask why they just rolled over for us when they nicked a point at Anfield. Leicester beat them 1-0 at the King Power pretty soon after we won there. They've dropped 4 points against Chelsea while we've taken maximum points.
That's how football works.

And how few penalties they concede.6 fouls each, 2 cards Southampton, Dippers 0 again despite making at least 2 card worthy fouls. Amazing how few cards they get
Hassenhutl shuffled the pack and had to do something different as they hadn't won since beating Arsenal at homeBednarek & Stuart Armstrong also usually start.
If we don’t beat them, then lets be honest, we don’t deserve it.So it is all down to us to win our final game, which is the way it always was and should be. On our own terms.
If we lose the title it will be because we fail to beat Villa and not because Southampton are shit, or Mahrez missed a pen, or Sterling's goal against Liverpool was offside or any other shite.
But we will beat Villa, we are too good, professional and experienced not too.
And for all Liverpool's "dominance" only came away with two goals. Not easy winning at Saints; they are as high as 15th FFS.
Sorry, just remembering comments after we failed to beat them. Twice.
Yeah, I was pondering that myself. I said in my last comment, it's ok to be disappointed with it because Liverpool didn't even have to be great. At the same time, if they'd have had a go and Liverpool make subs late and turn the game on it's head, we'd probably be just as disappointed. They should be beating Southampton on their current form anyway(everything pointed to Liverpool strolling through them).I'm not buying into this throwing the game malarkey. If they did it would have finished 3 or 4 to 1.
Hassenhutl is the one that set them up for an uphill task from the dressing room. Resting his best players after 10 days off is smacked arse shithousery. It's like he knows he's getting fucked off and the crowd have been booing him recently, so he's stabbed them in the back by playing a very weakened team.
Blame Hussenhatl primarily but the players should also shoulder a proportion of the blame. The desire to play a football match should be instilled in you. You don't need a manager for that. They were second best all night to every first and second ball.
The pack he shuffled was full of Jokers.Hassenhutl shuffled the pack and had to do something different as they hadn't won since beating Arsenal
About time our owners got serious with PIGMOL and got it all sorted, they have enough money to investigate it and bring em down, and bust the PL flush. And how few penalties they concede.
