Exactly! Incidentally people are questioning the photo that shows Diaz that emerged on Tuesday, well this was also published on the club's own Facebook account!

Furthermore with regards to why Bernardo was in gloves?, well on Monday's warm down session, lots of the players are in tights and gloves!

I agree partly - we had a lot of the ball and a fair few chances but it all felt rather laboured despite us dominating possession, meaning West Ham looked comfortable for a lot of the half, plus they exploited our defensive vulnerability to the max.

2nd half was totally different - there was a lot more urgency and imagination to our play and West Ham struggled to cope. We almost gifted them a 3rd goal though, so we need to be wary of this on Sunday if it's another largely patched-up defence.

The key could be as another poster stated - we need to pen Villa in from the off and play at a good tempo throughout, while constantly pulling their players out of position.

Considering Coutinho has been has had boos from the Liverpool fans every time he's played them since he left I sincerely doubt he's arsed.

It's becoming a ridiculous narrative. If Gerrard has them more up for Sunday than any other game then the players are more likely to be thinking "why the fuck is this guy more arsed about getting Liverpool a result than us?"

Id actually wager Villa will be more up for tonight than Sunday as it's the last game in front of their supporters.
 
Personally I'm not expecting any of the three injured players to be available, but hopefully we'll get some training pictures today to give a bit of clarity. Think the back four on Sunday will be Cancelo, Ake, Laporte, Zinchenko.

Would he take a chance on Walker, given the importance of the game, and the fact that it's the last game of the season?

Is it? I'd be astonished if they opted for anything other than the tried and trusted parked bus. 10 men crammed into their own area, coupled with aggressive pressing as we near their box, and the most mobile assortment of midfielders and forwards they can muster to try and sneak one on the counter. We've struggled pretty much every time we've faced that excruciatingly dull tactic this season.
