This is literally that last thing we need more of. Every single player on our team is already a master of this. Also Phillips can pass.Obviously its my opinion but i've never seen anything of Phillips that suggests he's a DM in the City mold. He is very athletic ill give him that and covers the pitch well, but for me to be a good DM in this City side you need to be able to receive in tight areas, pass the ball forward and very pass forward accurately. Rodri struggled with this hugely when he came to us and Rodri is a far better player than Phillips who in everything i've seen of him is quite limited in that sense.
I've given it a lot, just no wiser from it :)
Well Balotelli and Messi can play piano.Watch the video closely, there's a message written ;)
Not Alexis Sanchez!
Thief! Donut Thief. We’re signing De Gea…Watch the video closely, there's a message written ;)

I don’t understand the people thinking De Jong and Phillips are the same role. They are so different. We already have 25 de jongs in this team.De Jong is a weird player who is neither Pep's 6 nor 8. Gained his reputation at Ajax playing as a 'libero' shifting between defence and midfield. He's basically a 'Pirlo' with a dribbling ability, a deep lying playmaker whose main strength is connecting defence and attack.
As an 8, he hasn't set the world alight at Barca, lacks playmaking instincts in the final 3rd and is currently in the shade of his teammate Pedri. As a lone 6, he isn't positionally disciplined enough, so old and barely running Busi is preferred.
Initially Pep wanted De Jong as a lone pivot material. But now, having fully integrated Rodrigo, we simply don't need such an expensive understudy to him. And don't forget he had chosen Bartomeu's Barcelona over Pep's City project and was happily fucking about in Spain while Rodri worked hard to improve under Pep's guidance. Why would you want such a player in the team?
Besides, you have to take squad planning into account.
We have enough players for two '8' spots - KdB, Grealish, Bernardo, Foden, Gundo. Add Bellingham as a rumoured transfer target next year. What we need is Rodri's capable backup. Reliable, but knowing his place in the hierarchy. Phillips arguably suits it better than glamorous FDJ.
Top left.So no Foden or Palmer? ;)
Many apologies old chap!Top left.

I guess I mean get Jesus to sign a new contract (use violence if necessary ffs).Prefer to what though? Letting them go on a free next summer?
I guess the club need to come up with strategies for all possibilities. We seem to have offered them both new contracts that are still left unsigned.I guess I mean get Jesus to sign a new contract (use violence if necessary ffs).
Don't offer a new contract to Sterling - if he stays to run down his contract then we can't do much. If someone offers any money it's a bonus.
This the reverse is far more likelyI guess I mean get Jesus to sign a new contract (use violence if necessary ffs).
