Fuck that.

He has an incredibly punchable American face. My family moved to America when I was 10 and I lived there 20 years before coming back to the UK... I met loads of Americans with that sort of punchable face with an inflated opinion of themselves. I don't care how lovely he is, that's a twat of a face.

He's also overrated as fuck. I love sterling but I'm resigned to him potentially leaving and I'd be furious if pulisic came in and took minutes off Palmer. I'd rather play fucking Scott Carson on the wing.
So that's a maybe from you?

Not sure about the face thing but isn’t he a bit shit? Definitely couldn’t give a fuck about ESPN, what the fuck do they know about football? Palmer a better bet all round..

whats sterling on? £200000-250000 per week
kevs on £400000 so raz will want at least another 50k per week prob more.

sterling is not even worth what hes on now
i said last year imagine having someone who could finish or at least be on target with all these chances we create.
i got hammered for that one.
well now we do have someone or maybe 2 players who wont sky/stand on the ball with chances my grandson would finish.
Raz is already on 300k a week.. he got parity with kdb earlier before kdb got a new upgraded deal

Would a Pulisic + cash for Sterling swap make sense?

We'd get another type of winger and massive financial bonus from the shirt sales over in America.

I wouldn't have even considered it but I look at espn and they are all fawning over Pulisic and want him to move to salvage his career.
Oh god no...

Pulisic…. He’d struggle to get time in our reserve side.

And people say trust our management team, must have given him that after his one exceptional season .
How must other players view his wage compared to theirs when he's playing like he is at present .

Just one now? Fuck sake.

Player's wages aren't determined just by their performance. Sterling is a poster boy for us and England.

Compared to his other seasons, I think they were too hasty and wanted to secure his contract.
If those wages are true you want a consistent high level of performances to justify that salary IMO.
Ah ok, I can kinda see that compared to other forwards in the same role though his numbers are exceptional for 3-4 years. Last two he’s dropped by his standards.

Ok fair enough it seems longer than that but I take your points.
There's a big disparity when you drop to Jesus's wage and could have some bearing on his determination to leave.

Covid season extension has completely fucked my sense of timings as well… and now the World Cup year. Brain is fried when trying to remember

Raheem Sterling has scored 78 goals in the past five seasons, as a winger, for one of the most stacked teams in history. Last year wasn't super, but otherwise he has been world class. I expect him to be even better next year, with Haaland around.
Straight swap for Reece James, or is that too simple ?
