The frustrating thing is that Nunez is a really good striker with a huge future, but now he has to bear the weight of being "Liverpools Haaland" which is completely unfair on him, and he's arguably being set up to fail.

This signing is a clear knee jerk reaction and now he's going to catch the same unnecessary shit that Grealish caught if he doesn't live up to an obscene standard that Liverpool fans will set for him.

They could have announced this at any point in the last 5 weeks and if it ends up on the same day as Liverpool announce Nunez then it's City's fault.
