Someone sent me a fixture list for the 2022/23 season last night. "I don't know if it's genuine or not so don't shoot the messenger"!! I can't send it on here because I'm a technophobe...... Alas, it states that we start at home v Villa on Saturday 6th August, 13th away to Brentford, 20th home v Chelsea, 27th away to Fulham. Last game is away to Brighton 28th May 2023. Rags are: away Saturday 12th November 2022, then home Saturday 15th April 2023. Of course it's probably bollocks but thought i'd share it anyway :)
Yup, it’s all bollocks … and not the only list you’d see … week leading up to the fixtures release date is always like that … wait for a day or two before where there’d be so many claiming leaked fixture list and some tabloids would even discuss them on what-if basis on the day before the actual list is released - and when it is, it never matches any of the so called leaks.

Will be interesting to see how Pep plays this season.

traditionally we start to power up after the last international break of the year and into the new year. We generally reel off win after win during this period and it usually forms the backbone of our title challenge.

this period has now been replaced by the World Cup.

do we attack it from the start of the season in the hope that we’ve built a lead coming back after the World Cup but risk players being tired and getting injured during it ?

or do we accept a slow burn prior to the World Cup , with the players being in good condition coming out of it ready for a prolonged run in

i think we may see a few surprises next season with a unlikely team challenging , perhaps spurs could be a dark horse ?

It’s likely been asked but, are we guaranteed to be at home for the first game? I’m away from 13-18th August but would love to see Erling’s first game and reception!

Often City request to play away first game to give the pitch more time.

I always thought the fixtures were computer generated? After reading what Southgate has said, he has asked the league with help with the fixture list with the world Cup in mind, he has asked that non of "the big 6" play each other in the weeks before the world Cup, so basically as suspected all along the fixtures are rigged

ATOS are the computer software suppliers to create the original fixtures.

The same cunts who do my companies rostering software which is so infallible it has been overridden so many time to cover up issues. So in answer to your questions it can be and it's mainly TV that manipulate it.

Opening game; "this means more" (A). City win 1-0, Haaland with the winner on 83 minutes. Nunez misses a sitter in injury time.

If there is a God..........

Perhaps he was replying to a comment made from a tweet from afcbournemouth.

As long as we're away first game I don't care who we've got. The early start to the season has caught me out and I'm away on holiday till the Tuesday!
