Great player and it’s obvious that not 1 person wants him sold. Unfortunately it is not down to us but Bernardo. I believe a new deal has been offered by City. If he wants to leave then sort out a fee before his legacy gets ruined. We all move on. No point worrying about his loss. The club will move forward with or without any 1 particular player. The noise in the press does suggest Bernie’s agent and himself are pushing for the move. Get the best deal city.
 
This is why Mendes wants his clients moving, this is the last window he can get as much as possible in agent fees

FIFA plans on capping agent fees at three percent of a player's salary and 10 percent of the transfer fee. It is part of FIFA's new Football Agent Regulations that will take effect in 2022 and aim to provide a fairer and more transparent system
 
If Bernardo now is adamant on moving and Barca have the cash I can see City changing their minds on De Jong and taking him plus dough

It's really simple still, the rags have to pay first to get Frenkie, then Barca have to make sure they match our demands. If all works out we won't stand in his way, pretty sure we wouldn't have stood in his way last year either if an offer of €60m arrived.
 
I would fucking hate losing Bernardo too for nothing else than he’s seemingly a glue guy in the team but I will say it will feel quite sweet if city somehow turn up for FDJ in this deal and city stick to to united once again. A bit of a silver lining iyam and I’m here for it.
 
Cucurell and phillips will definitely happen I'm pretty sure now. But, I also think sterling may go to Chelsea if they can get lukaku out on loan to inter as looks likely and Jesus joins arsenal. Bernardo going also would mean a lot of change. Frustrating cuz I love the team City have now and change while exciting doesn't necessarily mean improvement
 
Dont agree with posters saying we don’t need to replace Bernardo and wait for Bellingham next season. Kdb and Gundogan will both miss periods of the season through injury and foden himself likely will to. We will need another cm or we will not be able to compete due to the amount of games etc.

Intrigued to see who we target.

With the greatest of respect they weren't supposed to have the cash for torres or for any of their signings over the past 2 years. Plus, all top barca sources saying frenkie is still for sale. His sale + this deal gives them the movement for bernardo and lewandowksi appaz
