Same here, matching the fee and gazumping our wages offer. Imagine the outcry if we did that to them. Nice to see for some players it’s not all about the Benjamin’s.Chelsea and Arsenal my guess

There's always Gundo for them to fall back onAgreed BB.
Match day thread could be losing Gabby and Raheem leaving them dangerously thin on resources.
The sun’ll come up - sorry it was the first thing that popped into my head.
People can laugh at me but when he signs for Accrington Stanley or Leyton Orient I want to be crowned "world's greatest ITK" & worshipped on a daily basisI'm going for Accrington Stanley and Leyton Orient then.................
West ham and villa were reported to be intrested in him? They weren’t. He wouldn’t even entertain United because he wants to retain his status at Leeds. I do know who those clubs were though ;-)
Now you’ve got that off your chest can you explain why, given that fantastic value you’ve outlined, I must buy a tv license if I want to watch live tv other than the bbc?And for a whopping £13 per month all they get in return is BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, Radio 1 Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5, BBC Sounds which includes a huge archive drama, comedy and documentaries stretching back decades, BBC Iplayer which includes a huge archive drama, comedy and documentaries stretching back decades and all the content on the BBC website.
That's not to mention the regional BBC services, the specific broadcasting for Wales, Scotland and NI, the Welsh, Scots and Irish language broadcasts and the BBC World Service.
The good thing here is there's something for everyone so even if pensioners don't like BBC3 or 1extra maybe their grandkids will and its all affordable because we all make the same moderate contribution.
Post Savile the BBC has implemented a large range of safeguarding, and whistleblowing policies for staff who wish to raise concerns and, in conjunction with the NSPCC, have dedicated child protection officers, so it's worry that you seem think that all 22,000 members of staff are protecting paedophiles-perhaps you could elaborate on your concerns so we can alert the proper authorities?
Now, of course, there are some people who use the historic cases of abuse and the relatively small cost of the licence fee to attack the BBC when really they are angry that it isn't simply a right-wing echo chamber for senile racists and, for balance, there are people on the left that are convinced that it's simply an extension of the right wing Tory establishment. It's worth bearing in mind as you wouldn't want to be perceived as one of those moronic nut-jobs.
.... and here they are£42m is good value imo. He's got big shoes to fill with Ferna. Hope he joins.
Depressing but not surprising that decades of malign, commercially driven greed, self-interest and political pressure from evil, entitled old tax dodgers like Murdoch, Rothermere and the Barclay brothers has now become rote for large swathes of the population. And for a whopping £13 per month all they get in return is BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, Radio 1 Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5, BBC Sounds which includes a huge archive drama, comedy and documentaries stretching back decades, BBC Iplayer which includes a huge archive drama, comedy and documentaries stretching back decades and all the content on the BBC website.
