I am with you brother. I know he is not coming but I need something to break the monotony of close season. You are only truly pathetic when you start thinking "How long til Bargain Hunt starts?" I've not watched Messi or PSG really but I'd have thought that with someone as good with his feet as Messi you'd just tell him to either...
1. Stand out wide as far away from everyone else as possible (like Mahrez does) and use his instant control to start attacks from wide. Or.
2. Be the fox in the box to finish up all the Haaland scraps as he causes havoc. Or
3. I'm no Pep Feckin Guardiola.

He got double that the season before, and I think this is the first time in 14 years that he's dropped below 50 for goals/assists. And the 50ish in his last season for Barca was low by his standards.

Without a doubt there was a big drop off but any city player stealing a living like that will be a PL player of the year candidate.

If Phillips is definitely done, we keep Ake, lose Sterling but sign a young hungry winger and a left back it would be the best window by far for a long time in terms of balancing and refreshing the squad.
