Hasn't Callum Doyle been playing left back for the England U23's as well? Surely must catch Peps eye if he's comfortable at left back and left sided CB.Think Doyle has more experience in “real games” than Mbete I would like Pep to have a look at him in preseason..

I think Ake lost a lot of confidence and faith in his City career sitting on the bench and watching Fernandinho on CB for the lest few games of the season. Dias and Stones out and he stays on the bench.
