Absolutely thisAgain, yes, you are. The country needs grown up leadership as soon as possible.

Why is the recess a given ffs? Why don’t the cunts work it for once, given the national crisis. Absolute fucking joke.Parliament not in recess at time
Not defending him, glad to see the back of him.Sometimes, the country’s immediate need transcends what is good for any opposition. This is one of the things Tories are blind to.
Johnson had to go asap to try and protect what is left of out international standing and resuscitate morality and truth.
His leaving also stops the bullshit about Brexit getting done and we can now begin to have adult conversations as to how best to stop the financial bleeding from it and discuss how not to break international law.
He's a first timer. ERG made a lot of trouble, many MPs would say the moment has passed, and have no problem whatsoever dumping them. He’d just be moved though?
Am I missing something.
Whats the big rush for a replacement.
It's not as though there is going to be a General Election or something.
It will just be a different face pursuing similar policies.
If the new PM makes a half decent job of it and let’s face it it will be hard to do worse it’s going to increase the Tory vote well in time for the next Election.
You need to be more worried as to whether Starmer is going to come good.
I just hope he is not found guilty regarding beergate.
That’s a very good question.so do all the resignations get declined or withdrawn
That's not a nice thing to say about CarrieI still think he'll leave number 10 and shoot the dog.
Nearly spat my coffee out.Steve Baker having a fucking laugh. Boris will be remembered for saving us!
The Tories would dump anyone they thought that would lose them power. They’re dumping Boris 3 years into their biggest majority in 30 years. He's a first timer. ERG made a lot of trouble, many MPs would say the moment has passed, and have no problem whatsoever dumping them.
Right there is the most baffling aspect of this buffoon's appalling tenure. Former Johnson lickspittles have been lining up in recent days in a desperate attempt to claim the moral high ground by resigning their post having suddenly grown a backbone out of nothing other than naked self-interest. Just this morning, the most inept Attorney General in living memory, Suella Braverman, has called for Johnson to resign and declared herself as a candidate for the Tory leadership while, bizarrely, continuing in her cabinet role.Hard to believe some people have only just realised what he's like.
A corrupt, incompetent, sociopathic narcissist.
No man has ever done more damage to the UK.
Ahhh, right. So it’s for the good of the people I see, that’s a far more important principle. You need to detach political allegiance from not wanting a pm that can’t even form a cabinet to remain in place for any longer than necessary, particularly given their behaviour over the last 24 hrs has shown they would spend that interim period trying to get out of it and going to god knows what lengths in order to try to achieve it.
It’s why being a member of NATO is so vital.I have absolutely no knowledge of politics other than the basics, so this might sound daft...
But Is this not a bad time for this to happen, with the Russia situation the way it is? Will Putin see this as a big weakness and a good time to 'strike'?
Sorry to say. Its your sort of voter that has contributed to this. Not defending him, glad to see the back of him.
That said, he had a high international standing.
I note the number of times Biden sought him out during the recent meetings and he was usually put on the front row for group photos , unlike most of his predecessors
