Surely Jeremy Hunt has to be in the frame. He's not been part of Johnson's Cabinet at any time so has a clean slate in that regard, and has often been critical of Johnson over the past few years. I know he didn't cover himself in glory as Health Secretary but I think he would be one of the more sensible choices out there.

I’m not huge on politics, certainly not a Tory but really don’t get this me. The leadership for many years has been nothing short of abysmal yet all I hear is it would be worse under labour. How much worse can it get than this? A leader who lies continuously, has no bottle, no balls. Makes judgement calls far too late, breaks rules and laws he sets himself then lied about it: allows his workers to break laws continuously and then laugh and lie to our faces. What on earth can be worse than that? But still they blindly follow, blindly tell you it’s better than labour whilst ignoring the shit show for well over a decade. I’ve not seen a mess like this in my adult life and where high thought of senior figures all walk due to the incompetence of the regime. But hey it’s saved us from Labour, not sure what we needed saving from surely it was the current government in power
